Skye said angrily, "If they don't have another target, they'll keep hunting you."
"And why did you hack S.H.I.E.L.D.?"
Miles Lydon said without caring, "Because that's what we do."
Skye stared at Miles Lydon and said, "You shouldn't have done that while I was inside with them."
"You could ruin everything, you idiot."
Miles Lydon looked at Skye. "Looks like you're handling it pretty well."
"I've made major progress. I can't let you—"
Seeing the look Miles Lydon was giving her, Skye asked in confusion, "Why are you looking at me like that?"
Miles Lydon walked up to Skye and said gently, "You just called me an idiot."
"Don't smile. I'm serious."
Miles Lydon went on, "I taught you everything you know. If I'm an idiot, what does that make you?"
Skye shot back, "You did not."
Miles Lydon looked at Skye with deep affection. "I'm sorry. I just couldn't help myself."
"I've missed you so much I was going crazy."
With that, he pulled Skye into his arms, and the two of them began kissing passionately.
Soon, they were stripping off each other's clothes. Then Miles Lydon scooped Skye up, and the two of them fell onto the bed.
