But when Odin said he could pay with an item from his collection in advance, something came to Charlotte's mind.
It was the Infinity Gauntlet in Odin's Vault.
The Gems set in it had to be fake, but if Charlotte's guess was right, the gauntlet itself was genuine. After all, it looked identical to the Infinity Gauntlet the Dwarf King had made for Thanos. It was hard not to suspect the Dwarf King had made it twice.
As for its size, a weapon of that caliber could adjust to fit its wearer.
With that in mind, Charlotte said:
"As for payment, I'm interested in the Infinity Gauntlet in your vault. Would you be willing to part with it?"
Hearing Charlotte name the Infinity Gauntlet as his price, Odin fell silent and studied him.
"Your desire for the Infinity Stones is greater than I thought."
"You can have it. But I must warn you: Earth already holds more than one Infinity Stone, and more than one faction in the universe is collecting them."
Charlotte nodded solemnly. "I'll be careful."
Meanwhile.
Aboard the Dark Elves' ship, Malekith studied an image of the planets and said:
"The Nine Realms are nearly aligned."
He drew a silver-white dagger and turned to Algrim. "You will be the last to be cursed."
Algrim turned to face Malekith. "I will give my life, as our people did. As you did."
Malekith drove the dagger into Algrim's abdomen, then pressed a Kurse Stone into the wound.
"You will become a Kursed, cursed by this world until it consumes you completely."
"Then our enemies will no longer be able to stop you."
Algrim drew a deep breath and looked up at Malekith. "I will crush them all and forge a new universe for you."
