Background / History

Anrokuzan ruled the Ancient City of Rōran as the de facto controller of the Dragon Vein beneath it. When Uchiha Liuyun entered the city and cut through its puppet guards to reach the Dragon Vein, Anrokuzan confronted him but received no answer; Liuyun regarded him as a dying man and continued onward 307.

After taking control of Rōran, Queen Sara learned of Anrokuzan's ambitions and wicked deeds, including that he had killed her mother. Her initial belief that he had been a good minister was one reason Liuyun had controlled her with Sharingan genjutsu after Anrokuzan's death 311 312.

Appearance

Before transforming, Anrokuzan was a middle-aged man dressed as a nobleman 307.

Dragon Vein Conflict

Anrokuzan attempted to stop Liuyun from reaching the Dragon Vein, threatening to spare his life if he left Rōran. Liuyun evaded the puppet's tail with Body Flicker, attacked with the lightning-enhanced Ama-no-Murakumo, and then destroyed the puppet's core with overwhelming force. The battle ended in two rounds, leaving no opportunity for Dragon Vein-powered recovery 308.
