Nature and Acquisition

Source Power is obtained when Lin Zheyu pushes both his body and mind beyond their limits. In his early cultivation, his body could be restored through nutrition and medicine, but his mind required roughly four days of natural recovery before he could undergo another productive breakthrough. 60

An exhausted attempt may produce less than a full unit and therefore display no gain. Lin Zheyu concluded that Source Power depends on the condition and proportional combination of his Essence, Qi, and Spirit; a weak component can restrict the final yield. 10 61 213

During a breakthrough, Lin Zheyu experiences his Essence, Qi, and Spirit twisting together and his mind entering a sublimated state. His later observations suggest that his perception briefly touches a hazy, chaotic “Source Power space,” whose energy density may determine how much Source Power he obtains. The Limit Great Art allows Lin Zheyu to deliberately reproduce this process by circulating and merging his Essence, Qi, and Spirit. 664

Consciousness Space

Using Source Power sends Lin Zheyu's consciousness into a special training state, generally after he issues a mental command to spend a specified number of units. 68 108

• Training tools such as wooden posts and footwork equipment can manifest within the Consciousness Space. 68
• Lin Zheyu possesses effectively unlimited energy and physical endurance while cultivating there. 68
• The space cannot create living sparring partners, limiting techniques that depend on real combat or exchanges of force. 108

Cultivation Enhancement

Source Power can rapidly improve existing techniques and cultivation methods by simulating prolonged cultivation, comprehension, and physical adaptation.

• Lin Zheyu used 4 units to raise Gale Wind Slash from Beginner to Mastery. 108
• It can cultivate complex inheritances in moments; Lin Zheyu absorbed the White Tiger Source's initial inheritance in a few breaths, a process that would normally take years. 612

Restoration and Physical Transformation

The mysterious energy released during enhancement directly transforms Lin Zheyu's body and can restore damage sustained during cultivation.

Energy Conversion and Constructs

Source Power's mysterious energy can refine external power into forms usable by Lin Zheyu.

• Lin Zheyu considers its ability to extract suitable foundational energy from vastly different external energies exceptionally inconceivable. 593
• When refining World Power, most of the absorbed World Power was transformed into an energy source for cultivating Source Power. 687
• With sufficient reserves, Lin Zheyu can create large numbers of avatars; he specifically relies on Source Power to replenish and replace them during high-risk cultivation. 1110

Limitations and Conditions

• Mental burden — Excessive use strains Lin Zheyu's mind, making recovery necessary before further safe enhancement. 42 301
• Material requirements — The Consciousness Space cannot manifest consumable poisons, medicines, or similar substances. To cultivate the Poison King Body, Lin Zheyu must first acquire and consume the required materials outside the space. 68
• Early recovery bottleneck — In his initial stages, his mind—not his body—limited acquisition to one productive breakthrough approximately every four days. 60
• Aura exposure — While enhancing himself in the Demon God Barrier, Lin Zheyu cannot maintain the disguise created by Purple-Black Runes; his living aura is exposed. 252
