The bows were powerful, the arrows sharp. Their specially made metal tri-edged arrowheads possessed outstanding Armor Piercing power, capable of penetrating even armor at close range. Their might was not something third- or fourth-rank ferocious beasts could withstand.
The wolf pack that had just rushed out of the forest fell in swathes, like wheat swept down by a sickle.
At the sight, every youth was greatly invigorated.

Ferocious beasts possessed a certain degree of intelligence. Under normal circumstances, they would not knowingly seek death, nor would their methods of attack be so rigid and stiff.
