Power Progression

Background

Mystic Power is the magical energy cultivated from the dantian in the Martial Era. Individuals capable of mastering it are known as Mystic Warriors. The foundational cultivation sequence is Mystic Apprentice, Mystic Soldier, Mystic General, Mystic Spirit, Mystic Ancestor, Mystic Venerable, Mystic King, Mystic Monarch, Mystic Emperor, Mystic Sovereign, Mystic Saint, and Mystic God. 1

Each major realm begins again at Level 0 and progresses through Level 9. Crossing a major realm produces a qualitative change in a cultivator's body and grants a new special ability. 4

Properties

• A Mystic Warrior's dantian stores Mystic Power; reaching Mystic Soldier causes the dantian to expand and its stored energy to surge. 4
• Mystic Power is expended to activate skills, cards, and sustained constructs. Water Spirit Clone, for example, costs 800 Mystic Power and collapses when its user's reserves are exhausted. 21
• Absorbing Heaven and Earth Spiritual Energy improves cultivation efficiency, Mystic Force recovery, and the power of certain charging skills. 10
• One hundred points of Mystic Force equal one point of total combat power in the system's calculation, alongside factors such as health, attack power, and equipment. 237
• Fan Lang's Mystic Force is modified into a fivefold state, making stated gains substantially greater than their normal value in practice. 3 49 129

Applications

Elemental Imbuement

Upon reaching Mystic Soldier, Mystic Power can be given elemental attributes: Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth, Wind, Lightning, or Ice. The resulting element depends on the skill being used. 4

• Fire-attribute Mystic Power fuels attacks such as Blazing Triple Wave, which produces successive waves of destructive flame. 10
• Different elemental skills may be difficult to combine; Water Cloud Palm is described as poorly suited to a user accustomed to fire-attribute techniques. 13
• Elemental infusions increase a skill's destructive force beyond unaligned Mystic Power. 4

Shaping and Projection

Skilled users can condense Mystic Power into physical or semi-physical forms.

• Spider Web Hand transforms Mystic Power into durable threads that bind and restrain targets; it requires extremely precise control. 13
• Fan Lang condenses Mystic Power into a giant Sky Covering Hand while in Human Dragon Form. 152
• Hai Chensha creates a lifelike dragon from Mystic Power with Seize Creation · Hidden Dragon Emerges from the Abyss. 264

Interruption and Depletion

Mystic Power can be directly disrupted or forcibly drained.

• The seven-star Mystic Force Severance card interrupts an opponent's Mystic Force for five seconds and is effective against Mystic Venerables and below. 121
• The Eight Shaku Divine Jade can forcibly plunder Mystic Force from an opponent's dantian. 536
• Leveling up can immediately restore depleted Mystic Force, allowing a combatant to return to peak condition mid-battle. 197

Major cultivation realms expand the ways Mystic Power may be perceived, controlled, or generated.
