Xuanzang ignored him. "Zhu Bajie, Sand Monk, let's go!"
"Master!" Sand Monk called out.
"I said, go!"
"Senior Brother! Sigh..."
"Senior Brother, Master he..."
Two streams of tears fell from Sun Wukong's eyes as he fiercely kowtowed several times toward Xuanzang's departing back.
"Master, take care!"
"Idiot, Sand Brother, protect Master well. I'm... leaving!"

Sun Wukong flashed away into the sky and vanished.
Sorrow appeared on Xuanzang's face. His heart twisted, and he was deeply reluctant to part with him.

He had initially planned to return to Flower Fruit Mountain, but then he remembered the Golden Hoop on his head and changed course for South Sea Mount Luojia.
What he did not know was that just as master and disciple parted ways, a Black Shadow sprang out of Sun Wukong's body and flew deep into the forest.
After Sun Wukong left, Xuanzang remained gloomy and distracted every day. This continued for four or five months.
