Battle at Lion Camel Kingdom, Tathagata Reclaims the Peng

Beyond Lion Camel Ridge lay a kingdom known as Lion Camel Kingdom, an entire nation of demons.

Lion Camel Kingdom had not originally been a demon kingdom. To complete the Eighty-One Tribulations of Journey to the West, Spirit Mountain of the Western Lands had sent Golden Winged Great Peng down to the Lower Realm, where he devoured every last citizen of the original Lion Camel Kingdom. Only then had it become what it was.

Golden Winged Great Peng was the third brother Azure Lion and White Elephant had mentioned.

Golden Winged Great Peng had a rather deep connection to Tathagata; he was Tathagata's maternal uncle.

When Tathagata had cultivated on Moko Mountain, he encountered Peacock committing evil and moved to subdue her, only to be swallowed into her stomach.

Later, Tathagata used Buddhist teachings to reform Peacock, and Peacock gave birth to him. After Tathagata became the Buddha Ancestor, he named Peacock the Great Bright King Bodhisattva.

Peacock and Golden Winged Great Peng were blood relatives, which was why he had become Tathagata's maternal uncle.

Earlier, Tang Xuanzang had been saved by a beautiful woman, but she had not sent him back to the entrance of Lion Camel Ridge. Instead, she brought him back to her home on Peacock Mountain.

The woman who had saved Tang Xuanzang was actually a Peacock Descendant.

She had unresolved feelings with Xuanzang's previous incarnation, Golden Cicada. Upon learning that Golden Winged Great Peng intended to harm Xuanzang, she descended to the Lower Realm, planning to secretly protect him.
