Arrival at Bikshu Kingdom, Children in Bamboo Cages

In the dense forest outside Lion Camel City, Zhu Bajie fought the Azure Lion while Sand Monk battled the White Elephant. The fierce battle raged on.

After a while, Manjushri, Samantabhadra, and Sun Wukong appeared high in the sky.

The two Bodhisattvas exchanged smiles and nodded. Then, with a sweep of their hands, two streams of light shot down from the sky and entered the bodies of the battling Azure Lion and White Elephant.

Very soon, the two reverted to their original forms. Sun Wukong descended, summoned the Ocean Stabilizing Divine Needle, and was about to kill them when the two Bodhisattvas hurriedly stopped him.

"Wukong, spare them this once. Go find your master."

With that, Manjushri and Samantabhadra waved their hands again, summoned the Azure Lion and White Elephant into the sky, then flew away and returned to Spirit Mountain.

Sun Wukong and the others did not linger either. They immediately flew back to Lion Camel City and began searching for Xuanzang.

Yet even after turning the entire Lion Camel City upside down, they found no trace of Xuanzang.

They returned to Lion Camel Ridge once more, but the result was the same.

Half a month passed in the blink of an eye, yet the Peacock Princess of Peacock Mountain still failed to awaken Xuanzang's memories of his past life.

Not only that, Xuanzang had begun fasting in the hope that the Peacock Princess would let him continue westward.

The Peacock Princess sighed mournfully. In the end, she could only take Xuanzang away from Peacock Mountain and bring him to Lion Camel City.

"Brother Golden Cicada, may your journey for the scriptures achieve perfection. When the time comes, may we meet again at Spirit Mountain. I hope you recover the memories of your past life and remember me."
