The Buddhas stepped inside and began searching for a way out.

When they reached the depths, they discovered a massive chain glowing with golden light.

Following the chain to its end, they saw a golden-furred stone monkey bound above, covered in wounds and looking utterly dispirited.

The moment Xuanzang saw him, his heart trembled, and he cried out, "Sun Wukong!"

Xuanzang's voice woke the golden-furred stone monkey, who had passed out from the pain. He slowly opened his eyes.

"Am I... about to die?"

He glanced ahead, then closed his eyes again.

Xuanzang and Guanyin exchanged a look before flashing into the air and attacking the great chain.

The many Buddhas behind them joined in as well, unleashing their techniques against the chain.

The Buddhas attacked for who knew how long, yet the chain did not move in the slightest.

Just then, a beam of golden light suddenly shot out from the Void and landed on the chain with a whoosh.

Crack, crack, crack! The chain snapped, and the golden-furred stone monkey fell to the ground.

Xuanzang flashed down beside him and shook his body. "Sun Wukong! Sun Wukong!"
