Layout and Landmarks
- City gates — New arrivals from Novice Villages must register with an NPC official and bind their identities to Emperor Dragon City. 122
- Lord’s Mansion — Located at the city’s center; its entrance is marked by two five-clawed divine-dragon statues. 126
- Quartermaster — Situated in the northwest corner, roughly two streets from the Lord’s Mansion. Its gates are decorated with Pixiu sculptures, and access is regulated by the city’s guardian beast. 130
- Guild Administration Office — The location where players use Guild Founding Tokens to establish guilds. 131 134
- Post stations — Carriages provide fast travel within the city; travel from the gates to the Lord’s Mansion costs three gold coins. 126
- Duel Space — A guardian-created arena for resolving disputes. Combatants do not truly die there, and their power attributes are equalized during a duel. 129

Entry Restrictions
- Players with a Killing Intent Value above 100 cannot enter the main city. Xiao Wen was barred while his value remained at 500. 122
- Reputation has major influence on NPC treatment. Xiao Wen’s nearly 10,000 Reputation Value caused the Lord’s Mansion guards to immediately change their attitude and announce him to the City Lord. 126
- The Duel Space normally costs outside-world players twenty gold coins to use; officials ranked Patrol Centurion or above may use it free of charge. 129
Guardians
Pixiu
The Pixiu are alien Immortal Beasts said to have arrived on the Phantom Gods Continent after shattering the void and losing their route home. They now serve as Emperor Dragon City’s guardians. 130
- Their protection is credited with allowing Emperor Dragon City to endure in the eastern region. 130
- A Pixiu can recognize an official seal and permit its bearer to enter the quartermaster. 130
- One Pixiu effortlessly subdued the newly freed Level 100 Royal Beast Earth Demon and removed it from Wandering Valley. 187
- Their authority extends beyond the City Lord’s; they arranged the Golden Treasure Panda’s appointment as Vice City Lord. 240
History
When the main city system became available, Xiao Wen arrived at Emperor Dragon City through a teleportation portal. Although his identity registration unlocked the surrounding map, his Killing Intent Value initially prevented him from entering the city itself. 122
After Xiao Wen captured Old Liu, Emperor Dragon City’s most gifted alchemist and a core member of the Demon Transformation Society, he brought the prisoner to the Lord’s Mansion. The City Lord used this opportunity to reveal the society’s threat to the Human race and issued the hidden main quest “The Foundation of the Human Race.” 126 127
The City Lord offered Xiao Wen a land deed, a Patrol Centurion appointment, and a hidden-class inheritance as possible rewards. After Xiao Wen defeated Tie Hu in the Duel Space, he received the Patrol Centurion title and official seal, though no troops were assigned to him. 128 130
Emperor Dragon City became a focal point of guild competition when Radiant Dragon and Godslayer were established through its Guild Administration Office. Godslayer received a D-Class ranking and territory northeast of the city, intensifying its conflict with the Radiant Dragon Guild. 132 134 135
The city later coordinated the response to the Demon Transformation Society’s activities in Wandering Valley. After Xiao Wen supplied intelligence on Valley Master Huo Chaomo’s cooperation with the society, the City Lord prepared a siege and assigned Xiao Wen to infiltrate the valley. 153
When the Earth Demon’s seal broke, Emperor Dragon City deployed soldiers to surround Wandering Valley and declared it a forbidden zone. The Pixiu’s intervention allowed the city to capture the Earth Demon rather than face its destruction. 177 185 187 188
Following the incident, the City Lord rewarded Xiao Wen with D-Class Guild Building Blueprints and sent him toward the Dark Forest to investigate the Demon Transformation Society and a call connected to the Pixiu. 188
The city later dispatched Xiao Wen as an envoy to the Elf Kingdom, tasking him with contacting the Elf Queen regarding the Demon Transformation Society’s activities among the elves. A griffin mount and the Golden Treasure Panda, acting as Vice City Lord, accompanied him. 240
