History

Qi Lianliancheng first appears as one of Huang Wushen's four direct disciples during the aftermath of Old Zhao Nan's ambush. He orders Tang Qingxiang, Zhuo Chendao, Zen Master Bule, and True Person Gong Li to pursue Old Zhao Nan and destroy the Great Luo Sect for failing to assist Kunlun. 49

He later confronts Marquis Qingfu over Ye Zhaonan. Though he openly praises Qingfu's loyalty and righteousness, he refuses to abandon his master's order; he breaks Qingfu's Ice Origin Incantation with a Buddha Seal, forcing Qingfu's Nascent Soul to flee. 135

Over the next two years, Qi Lianliancheng rapidly rises into Kunlun's most feared younger disciple. His power surpasses Marquis Liehuo and Marquis Qingfu, and other sect leaders compare him to the Ten Golden Immortals of Kunlun. 134 163 He spends sixty years in seclusion, then secretly emerges by exploiting the activation of the Chì Lè Sect's array. 261

Recreated Namesake

Huang Wushen later uses a Great Transformation Heavenly Golden Lotus seed and a five-colored jade stone to create a new living body identical to Qi Lianliancheng. The body has its own consciousness, breath, heartbeat, and Nascent Soul-stage magical power, but its temperament is explicitly different from that of the original. 394
