Reporting That I'm Safe

Brothers, I came back today.

The good news was that it wasn't Crohn's—just ordinary polyps.

The bad news was that there were more than twenty of them, and several were quite large. It started at two thousand, with eighty more for each additional one, and extra charges for difficult cases... At those rates, removing them cost me over ten thousand.

Today and tomorrow, I could only have liquid food and rice paste. For the following three days, it would be porridge and noodles. It would take more than a week before I could eat normally again, not counting the injections and medicine.

The wounds still hurt a little inside today. Though it was a minor operation, there were so many of them that the affected area was still quite large. Sitting hurt, so I could only lie down.

Updates should resume the day after tomorrow or the day after that. I'd see how things went then, so I wouldn't post a separate leave notice.

It counted as good news, I supposed. It wasn't one of the serious illnesses I'd been worried about. But from now on, I was basically saying goodbye to takeout—it really wasn't healthy. Maybe other people could keep the same bad long-term habits and be fine, while I'd get sick. There was nothing to be done about that.

Although the reason was perfectly justified, I should still kowtow to everyone.
