"Golden Winged Great Peng was suppressed by Master, while Purple Jade Flood Dragon and Gold Devouring Tiger were turned into dishes."

"Now the entire Demon World is thinking of finding some hidden place to lie low for several thousand years, waiting until Master ascends before plotting anything major," Earth Crystal Spider said.

Xu Fan laughed when he heard that. He had to admit, it was a very sound strategy.

"Not a bad idea, but unfortunately, those very top Demon Race clans won't be able to escape even if they want to."

"I want to know what you plan to do," Xu Fan said as he looked at Earth Crystal Spider.

"I'll lead the demons of Myriad Demon City to develop in the frigid reaches of the Demon World, and wait until after Master ascends before doing anything else."

"Either way, this generation of the Demon Race has no hope of rising," Earth Crystal Spider said with a sigh.

"Don't be discouraged. The script is long; as long as you keep your head down, there will always be a chance to rise," Xu Fan said with a smile. That damned Heavenly Dao of the Cultivation World had botched its own script, yet all it knew was how to call in the parents and forcibly patch things up.
