Starting Today, I'm Revising the Opening

I spent quite a bit of time carefully rereading the opening of the first chapter, and I did indeed find many areas that could be improved. Of course, it wasn't entirely without merit—it was simply no longer suited to the times. Starting today, I'll be revising it, and I'm planning major changes, perhaps even a complete rewrite. Once it's done, everyone is welcome to offer suggestions so we can make this book better together.
