Child's Illness Relapses, Requesting a Few Days' Leave

My child had been sick for quite some time and had been hospitalized all along. Just when recovery was in sight, and we had even planned a trip, there was another relapse. The high fever would not subside in the middle of the night, so my plan to post six chapters yesterday fell through. We are hospitalized again now, and I do not know how things will go over the next few days, so I am requesting leave in advance.
