Yota was only mildly curious about how Ikki had gotten to the Underworld. In the original story, Ikki had always been elusive and out of step with the other Main Five, practically the Main Five's roaming specialist.

No matter where that guy showed up, it would be perfectly normal. Yota even suspected that Ikki might have appeared during the last incident in the Sea World. The problem had simply been resolved too quickly for him to get a chance to make an appearance.

The key now was not worrying about others, but figuring out where he was. Yota looked around at his location—good, very good. He had arrived right on the banks of the River Styx, practically the farthest place from the Underworld's Pure Land.

The shore was filled with wandering souls doing nothing, their faces dull and numb. Every so often, they let out a sigh, creating the atmosphere of a horror movie.

With a splashing sound, a rather oddly shaped boatman rowed a small ferry over from the opposite bank of the River Styx, humming some incoherent tune under his breath.

"An Underworld Ferryman?" Yota asked in surprise. He remembered such a character from Saint Seiya, but this ferryman felt far stronger than the original story's mere extra.

This guy actually has God Cosmo? He doesn't seem any weaker than the Twin Gods of Death and Sleep! Yota watched the ferryman reach the shore, unable to make sense of it.

What could be said about Charon the Ferryman of the Underworld from the original story? Calling him greedy was an exaggeration, since his fare was not particularly expensive.
