So Yota agreed to Lana's request. Besides, he was quite interested in the Nephalem.

As had been said before, humanity's origins differed completely from world to world. Some had been created by Aliens, some had evolved from monkeys, some had been made directly by God, and some had been molded from clay by Nüwa.

Of course, there were also more advanced humans, such as those created from the flesh and blood of ancient God-Devils, those descended from degraded ancient deities—and those of the Dark World, humans born from the union of Angels and demons.

The humans of ancient times were known as Nephalem. In terms of combat power, they surpassed both demons and Angels, though their lifespans were not as eternal and ageless as those of Angels and demons.

After the first generation of Nephalem died out, their descendants were suppressed by the Worldstone and gradually weakened, eventually becoming the humans of today's Dark World.

In truth, however, they had been suppressed and sealed, not stripped of that potential. The fact that many Dark World professionals could reach the very pinnacle and possess strength capable of contending with God-Devils was the clearest proof.
