Although Hell's collapse would not affect the Sanctuary World in the short term, it would absolutely affect every demon in Sanctuary World.

At first, Yota had killed Baal, the Lord of Destruction. Although this greatly weakened the demons, he had taken the Worldstone as well, significantly reducing Sanctuary's repulsive force. In the short term, the demons' strength had declined only to a limited extent.

However, once all of Hell had been destroyed, the demons' power plummeted as though falling off a cliff. This was especially true for the named bosses, whose connection to Hell was closer. With Hell destroyed, the backlash they suffered was naturally far greater.

The humans of Sanctuary were no fools. On the contrary, though they had repeatedly suffered invasions by several Demon Lords, the fact that Sanctuary still remained safe and sound showed that humanity's strength and potential were anything but lacking.

Problems arose throughout the region, and dark magic greatly diminished. Those with prophetic abilities, such as Akara and Deckard Cain, as well as some of the top professionals, all noticed this. Though they did not know the exact reason, that did not stop them from launching a counteroffensive against all the forces of Hell.

Just as Yota returned to Sanctuary, humanity was launching its counterattack against the demons.

Yota paid no attention to the ordinary humans and went straight to Travincal Temple in Kurast. Ignoring the corrupted creatures and demons howling over Hell's destruction, and without looking for anything to break the seal of the so-called Compelling Orb, he simply threw another punch, just as he had in the Chaos Sanctuary.

With a thunderous boom, nearly the entire city was blasted into a massive crater. Yota descended in some surprise. Every monster had already been destroyed, and only one place still retained a trace
