A dazzling white orb tore through the darkness, shot into the sky through the wind and rain, and burst against the backdrop of heavy storm clouds, becoming a bright mass of light visible even from an immense distance.

In the northwestern Paramel Highlands, at the center of a position concealed by terrain and woods, a massive, oppressive war machine lay silently dormant on its tracks. Dense curtains of rain lashed its dark armor plates, while the flare fired by the Typhonians cast a sheen across the wet steel.

The Iron Throne had shut off all major external lights, and opaque shields had risen over the windows of every carriage. Amid the darkness, only a few faint signal lights flickered across its surface. Their weak glow was swallowed by the rain and gloom, becoming nearly imperceptible from a hundred meters away.

Inside the Armored Train's tactical section, a commander approached Philip. "The Typhonian vanguard Knight Order has sent up a signal."

"They're signaling the Supernatural Being legion waiting in the rear," Philip said calmly. "Notify the arsenal section to prepare. All main guns are to target the eastern plain of Longwind Fortress."

"Yes, General."

Philip turned and looked toward the Holographic Projection not far away. Above the crystal emitting a dim blue glow appeared the view outside the train, transmitted by the external monitors.

The rain grew heavier, and the sky darker still. Cold winds carried the rain across this land near the border.

Thank goodness for the rain. The Iron Throne had reached its designated position northwest of the Paramel Highlands half an hour ago, then entered silent mode and waited until now.

Night had gradually fallen amid the wind and rain.

Now all they had to do was wait for Typhon's Supernatural Being legion to enter the buffer plain.
