In the brightly lit research workshop, the Iron Wings prototype had been disassembled once more into individual components, spread out across platforms and supports.

Along the lower edges of its enormous metal wings, the broken and twisted metal framework was especially conspicuous.

Amid a clatter of metal, Rebecca crawled out from beneath one of the giant wing structures, her face smeared with grease and a newly removed component in her hand.

"A Magic Capacitor used to balance the load burned out. That was probably the main reason the entire system lost balance," Rebecca said to the Technical Personnel beside her, holding up the component. "All the other mechanical failures and deformed parts happened during the crash."

Maggie curiously leaned closer and looked at the disk-shaped component in Rebecca's hand. "What caused it? How did it suddenly overload?"

"If I'm not mistaken... the acceleration was too rapid, causing too much waste energy to build up before it could be discharged. Then you happened to perform an excessively large maneuver, like a high-angle roll or something, and the Magic Capacitor just blew," Rebecca said with a frown. "We really didn't consider this... humans simply can't pull off maneuvers like that. Their bodies wouldn't withstand it. We still don't know enough about dragons..."

Rebecca was still muttering to herself, but Maggie's expression had already turned awkward. She lowered her head with a trace of shame. "It... it was my fault..."

Rebecca immediately shook her head. "No. A failure like this occurring during flight means there's a problem with the design itself—the Magic Capacitor has limited load capacity, so we should have added safety restrictions from the start. This is actually good news—at least the flaw is in the design. We can gradually solve it through redesign and testing. If it were a fundamental
