Asalina came to a secluded corner of the room, slowly spread her arms, and released the ability she had been born with.

Illusory flames emerged from the void, gradually swallowing and enveloping the Dragon Seal Witch. Light and shadow swayed within the fire as uncertain runic marks began flashing in sequence. Within a few breaths, Asalina seemed to merge with the flames themselves. Her red hair slowly drifted upward, floating silently through the air like fire, while countless illusory, low voices appeared at the boundary between flame and reality, echoing ever more clearly in Asalina's mind.

It was a "language" ordinary people could not understand, a "Psionic Echo" understood only by Dragon Seal Witches and Dragon Seal Wizards.

Sir Golosh and several advisors waited quietly nearby, watching Asalina converse with another Dragon Seal Witch far away in Dragon's Landing Fortress. Once the flames had stabilized, they knew that Grand Duke Barrogel was beside the witch on the other end. By now, he should have learned of the "new things" the Cecilians had brought out.

The process lasted around half an hour before the illusory circling flames gradually subsided.

Asalina let out a soft breath. Fine beads of sweat slid down her forehead. Maintaining such a long-distance "Psionic Echo" was clearly no easy task, and even a Dragon Seal Witch expended a great deal of energy doing so.

Sir Golosh waited with great composure for a minute. Only after seeing Asalina recover did he step forward. "Grand Duke Barrogel has responded?"

"We were right to report it promptly. The Grand Duke first affirmed that," Asalina said, glancing at Sir Golosh and the advisors before nodding slightly. "These are the Grand Duke's exact words:

"The Cecilians have their eyes on our mineral resources, while we have our eyes on their Magic-Conducting Technology
