"Sorry, Professor Flitwick, Professor Dumbledore asked me to notify Anderson that he needs to accept an interview with the Daily Prophet." Nearly Headless Nick appeared at the entrance to the Charms classroom, interrupting Charms class as he spoke to Professor Flitwick, who looked up at him.
"Oh, an interview with the champion? Go on, Mr. Anderson. Missing one class won't mean much to you, I imagine." Professor Flitwick gave Albert a gentle smile.
"See you later!"
Albert quickly packed up his things, bade farewell to his three dorm mates beside him, and followed Nearly Headless Nick out.
The students in the Charms classroom began whispering among themselves. Everyone knew what the interview was about; after all, the British wizarding world had not won the Magical School Potion Championship in a very long time.
Albert followed Nick to a smaller classroom. Most of the desks had been pushed to the back, leaving a large open space in the middle.
There were already two people inside. One was Rita Skeeter, whom Albert had met once before. She was speaking with a photographer holding a camera.
"Wonderful, our champion is here."
Hearing footsteps, Rita Skeeter turned toward the door and hurried over to Albert. She reached out to grab his shoulder, trying to pull him toward a nearby seat.
However, Rita Skeeter soon realized she could not budge the man before her at all. Albert stood there like a stone statue.
"I suggest we conduct the interview somewhere quiet." Albert glanced at the photographer holding the camera and made the suggestion calmly.
"Sorry, Fawkes. Could you give us some privacy for the interview?" Rita Skeeter asked the photographer beside her.
"No problem!"
The man named Fawkes looked at Albert, nodded to Rita Skeeter, then turned and left.
