"Wizard Cards is gradually losing popularity. You should have gone to host the Wizard Cards Club yourself last month. You should have seen how disappointed those girls were when they found out you hadn't come. A lot of people think you've already given up on Wizard Cards."
At a window seat in the Gryffindor Common Room, Lee Jordan, who was playing Wizard Cards with Fred, kept grumbling to Albert about dumping the Wizard Cards Club on him.
"If Wizard Cards stops being popular with players, then the game is doomed not to last." Albert stroked Tom's head as he flipped through the manuscript in his hands, helping Isabelle review parts of the Ancient Runes Guide. "I think you ought to give Wizard Cards a hand." Feeling that Albert himself did not care much about Wizard Cards anymore, Lee Jordan reminded him, "Don't forget, we'll be seventh years next term. We'll be graduating soon, and once we lose your support, with no one to take over the Wizard Cards Club, Wizard Cards will quickly disappear from the school and be forgotten. All our efforts over these past few years will have gone down the drain."
"Weren't you already dealing with that last term?" Albert asked in confusion.
"My words don't carry as much weight as yours. So I think it'd be best if you handled it personally." Lee Jordan was rather depressed, but he had to admit that a large part of Wizard Cards' popularity at school was due to Albert. Once Albert washed his hands of it, there was no telling how long the club could last.
