At mealtimes, girls often turned to stare at him. The bolder ones came up to Albert with handkerchiefs, schoolbags, and books for him to sign, leaving him thoroughly vexed. This was probably the trouble that came with being popular.

Viktor Krum was the first of them to adapt to being a champion. He was already a famous Quidditch star and had plenty of experience dealing with enthusiastic fans.

Fleur Delacour was like a breathtaking, unattainable flower. She became the center of attention wherever she went, yet not a single Hogwarts boy dared work up the courage to greet her.
