Once November arrived, the temperature around Hogwarts plummeted. The weather became bitterly cold, and snow could start falling at any moment.

Tom lay on the cushion by the window as usual, staring outside and contemplating the life of a cat.

A series of pops suddenly sounded in the dormitory. When Tom turned his head, he discovered that his human had appeared out of thin air.

"Meow!"

Tom climbed down from the cushion and ran to Albert's feet, gently rubbing against them a few times as he meowed softly, as though saying: Human, I'm hungry.

"They forgot to prepare your lunch?"

Albert eyed the affectionate fat cat suspiciously. After hesitating for a moment, he still gave it some food. Dinner would be soon anyway.

"Oh, right, I nearly forgot about that." Albert muttered, throwing on his cloak and heading outside.

It was very cold beyond the castle, though fortunately it was not raining. Otherwise, Albert definitely would not have wanted to leave the castle. He pulled his clothes tighter around himself and made his way toward Hagrid's Hut.

Hearing the knock, Hagrid opened the door and greeted Albert, who stood outside, with a smile. "Our champion finally found the time to come see me."

"I've been busy lately. Being famous comes with a whole heap of trouble. Besides, I thought Potter would come see you. He hasn't been having a good time recently." Albert bent down and rubbed Fang's head, then gestured for Hagrid to look outside. Several girls were peering this way furtively, though nobody knew what they were up to.

"You're still very popular with girls." Hagrid smiled and stepped back, making room for Albert and inviting him inside.

"If I didn't have a girlfriend, I'd definitely be happy about it. Unfortunately, I already do." Albert drew his wand
