After a loud crack, the five people who had been sitting at the judges' table appeared outside the arena out of thin air. Their expressions were all grim; the students' reckless behavior had clearly infuriated them.

"That was close. I thought I was going to die!"

Bagman patted his chest in lingering fear and glared resentfully at the culprit. No one had expected Karkaroff's "explanation" to directly provoke the outrage of the entire audience, to the point that they had begun hurling curses at the judges' table.

"Dumbledore, is this how Hogwarts treats—" Karkaroff struck first, preparing to pin the blame on Dumbledore.

"That's enough, Karkaroff."

Hearing a burst of cheers from the stands, Madame Maxime impatiently cut him off. "I truly don't understand why you gave Anderson one point. Don't tell me it was because he's a Muggle Wizard. Well, look at the mess now. How do you intend to clean it up?"

Karkaroff's face instantly darkened. He gave a dissatisfied snort and turned to leave.

"This is awful." Bagman watched Karkaroff's retreating back, unable to hide the disgust on his face. "I really don't understand why Durmstrang would choose someone like that as headmaster. No wonder Durmstrang has always had such a poor reputation."

"Enough, Ludo. We should be considering how to solve this problem now," Dumbledore said gently.

"How do we solve it? As long as Karkaroff isn't a judge, every problem will be solved." Bagman felt Karkaroff should be kicked off the Judges Panel. Someone incapable of even basic fairness and impartiality had no right to be a judge. He was nothing but trouble. "Still, I've never seen Hogwarts students so united!"

"It can only be said that Mr. Anderson possesses extraordinary charisma." Dumbledore turned to Crouch. "Barty, how do you think we should handle this?"
