Ice River was one of Heaven Dou's four rivers. It lay on the northern frontier of the Heaven Dou Empire, originating from the distant icy peaks on the northern foot of the Heaven Mountain Snowfield, then flowed north and east along the mountain range.

The river's water mainly came from melted ice and snow, so its temperature was extremely low.

Even so, it still provided agricultural irrigation and daily water for the vast lands of the northern Mu Gaozha'er (Tianshui) Province of the Heaven Dou Empire.

Ice River was the mother river of Tianshui's residents.

And it had another very special feature: it did not freeze at zero degrees, remaining in a flowing state, and only froze when the temperature reached minus thirty or forty degrees for those three or four months of winter.

Usually, in August and September, because of Ice River, it blocked a large portion of the soul beast encroachment from the Far North Land, while in winter, most soul beasts went into hibernation, and the number of active soul beasts fell sharply.

So Ice River was even more the protective river of Tianshui's residents.

The Tianshui in Tianshui Province, Skywater City, and the Duke of Tianshui referred precisely to Ice River.

The residents of the entire province all naturally accepted and identified with the two words "Tianshui."

Therefore, some people also called it Tianshui River.

Not only that, Ice River had also nurtured Icebound Forest, with dense woods lining both banks of Ice River.

Icebound Forest generally referred to the long strip of forest on the southern bank of Ice River, stretching across the entire northern part of Tianshui Province.

Tianshui Province was the most expansive province in the Heaven Dou Empire. Its land was vast and sparsely populated, and most of its residents lived around
