The enemy had killed two Supremes. There was no longer any need for them to keep up appearances. What came next would inevitably be an attack that would Rake the Courtyard and Sweep the Caves.
Holding their ground and waiting for reinforcements now was no different from waiting to die.
With two Supremes already dead, the reinforcements would definitely consist of more than two Supremes. Otherwise, it would just be a piecemeal commitment of forces.
Everyone knew that they only had two Supremes left, both currently at the base.
It was especially worth noting that one of those Supremes was not from the Divine Script Society, but from the base.
It was extremely necessary for a Supreme to remain stationed at the base. That person was effectively the Guardian Supreme of the entire Garbage Star.
If things had been going well, the base's Supreme might have joined in for the sake of it, thereby giving the Divine Script Society some face.
But now that two Supremes had already died, the base's Supreme had every reason to refuse assistance.
His responsibility was to protect the planet, but in reality, he only needed to ensure that the base remained secure. Canyon and Central City were not important.
What did a mere Residential Area have to do with him? The residents here barely counted as people.
Still, some people held out hope. "Can't the base send a few warships to support us?"
The base had quite a few high-end fighters, but its greatest strength lay in its advanced military equipment. It even had one Battalion-level Warship and several Company-Class Warships.
If that kind of force was willing to
