Dayuan City meant a city with tall, towering walls.
The wall was about a mile high, painted with various runes for resisting yuan-worms. Just outside the tall wall were mountains of flesh, the blood and flesh growing between the ground and the abyss. People would be devoured by the flesh if they were the least bit careless, and only within the high walls could they be considered safe.
The people here had long grown accustomed to the writhing mountains outside the city and the flesh growing everywhere.
