When Chen Feng appeared, the people opposite him noticed him as well.
They were all young men, traveling on foot, and they seemed somewhat hungry.
They sat on the ground resting, their gazes sweeping over him with vigilance.
Chen Feng was dressed as a daoist, leading a horse, and standing alone here made him seem rather conspicuous.
"Horse bandit?"
The five young men opposite him frowned. The leader was named Zhuang Wu. He wore a gray robe, and the four behind him wore the same attire. With their long hair, they looked like sect disciples.
"Brothers, there's a horse bandit over there!"
Zhuang Wu said warily.
"Doesn't look like one!" Wang Hao shook his head. "He's very young. He can't possibly be a horse bandit. Besides, he isn't carrying a blade, nor does he look bloodthirsty. Those horse bandits are all fierce and vicious. This guy is just a Young Daoist!"
Another disciple said, "But it's strange for him to be alone here. How could there be a young man in this desolate desert? Could he be a ghost?"
"Bullshit. How could he be a ghost? It's broad daylight, and he's even riding a horse. Besides, he doesn't look like one!"
"Hey, you over there! Who are you?"
Zhuang Wu shouted. Chen Feng smiled. "I'm a traveler passing through this place!"
"A traveler?"
"I came to admire the desert scenery and got lost. Don't worry, I'm not a bad person!"
"Heh, we should be the ones saying that. There are five of us, so even if you were a bad person, we wouldn't be afraid of you. But you're alone and lost out here. I'm afraid you won't be able to get out!"
Zhuang Wu frowned and quietly discussed it with his brothers. "Should we help this guy?"
"Forget it.
