"However, I cannot teach you that. It is a matter of experience. Once you refine more, it will naturally cease to be a problem. Your techniques are fine as well; they must have come from an exceptionally capable alchemist."
Listening to the Fourth Elder, Xiao Heng could not help but marvel at how sharp the eyes of these old foxes were. Old Yao had treated him well, and among the things he had given him were vast amounts of alchemical knowledge and secret arts, including those exquisite techniques.
As he spoke, the Fourth Elder pondered, seemingly considering what he could teach Xiao Heng. After thinking for a long while, he still seemed unable to come up with anything suitable.
He raised two fingers before his brow as Soul Power surged.
"Do not resist! These are some of my experiences. Look through them when you have time; they will be useful to you."
A gaunt finger touched Xiao Heng's brow. Hearing the Fourth Elder's words, Xiao Heng was delighted. He immediately calmed himself and began receiving this immense body of knowledge.
A few breaths later, Bai Shao lowered her finger. If Xiao Heng had merely been a Seventh-grade Alchemist, she might only have offered him some guidance. But Xiao Heng was an Eighth-grade Alchemist, of the same rank as her, so much of what she knew was no longer useful to him. Only the accumulation of her many years of experience—or rather, her own insights and alchemical arts—could help him.
Xiao Heng opened his eyes. Sensibly, he did not immediately unlock all of
