Within a bamboo grove, the breeze rustled the leaves. The bamboo leaves were a lush green, the stalks slender and tall. Inside the grove, three people sat facing one another at a bamboo table in a bamboo house.
A girl in purple robes was brewing tea. Her movements were still somewhat stiff, but every step was complete.
As Bai Yang watched his sister offer a cup of tea, he reached out to take it, only to see her place it directly before the other person. His expression immediately stiffened, and he lowered his hand.
"Sorry. It's been a long time since I've done this, so I may be a little rusty," Bai Xi said softly, looking at Xiao Heng without making any move to pour another cup. Seeing this, Bai Yang's eyes grew even dimmer.
"It is already an honor to have you brew tea for me. Besides, I wouldn't call this rusty," Xiao Heng said with a faint smile. He lifted the cup and took a sip before setting it down, a contented expression appearing on his face.
Seeing Xiao Heng's rather satisfied expression, Bai Xi smiled radiantly, her beauty beyond compare.
"You flatter me." Smiling faintly, Bai Xi lifted her own cup and took a light sip, then looked at Bai Yang in confusion. "Brother, why aren't you drinking?"
Bai Yang truly did not know what to say. His emotions were immensely complicated. Was this really a matter of whether he drank tea or not? He felt like he was entirely unnecessary sitting here.
Silence... for a long while!
Bai Xi casually tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, though it had not been messy in the first place.
"How long do you plan to stay this time? Or are you leaving again soon?" Bai Xi asked
