Di Tian served as the Star Dou Great Forest’s Beast God and bore responsibility for protecting Gu Yuena and preserving unity among its powerful soul beasts. He had lived through the Dragon Clan’s decline and retained a powerful attachment to its lost glory and the Nine Great Dragon Kings. 22 113

When Lin Yun’s fusion with the Golden Dragon King Bloodline released Dragon’s Might across Star Dou, Di Tian recognized its dragon-clan aura. He knelt before the unconscious child, carried him through a spatial gate to the Lake of Life, and guarded him during his three-year slumber. 3

After Gu Yuena identified Lin Yun as her “brother” and delegated the Dragon Clan’s revival to him, Di Tian began addressing him as the Honored One. Gu Yuena ordered Di Tian to cooperate with Lin Yun completely, establishing Di Tian’s role as Lin Yun’s most dependable enforcer and agent. 6

Appearance

Di Tian commonly appears as a two-meter-tall middle-aged man, but his true form is an enormous Golden-Eyed Black Dragon that dwarfs ordinary soul beasts. 2 431

Personality

Di Tian is duty-bound, proud, and intensely loyal to the Dragon Clan’s leaders. He reveres Lin Yun as the returned Golden Dragon King and regards serving him as an honor, even when Lin Yun’s requests involve dangerous or politically delicate tasks. 8 103

His instincts favor direct violence. When Lin Yun brings him to Dragon City, Di Tian’s first response is to ask whether he should erase the city; Lin Yun repeatedly urges him to be more cautious in the weakened position of the soul beast race. 15 His aggression is tempered by a sense of responsibility: he initially endured Xiong Jun’s provocations to maintain order in Star Dou, only retaliating decisively when the challenge became intolerable. 22

Despite his severity, Di Tian is capable of sympathy. He was troubled by Xiong Jun’s decision to offer his son as Lin Yun’s Soul Ring and asked Lin Yun to resurrect the young bear after regaining his peak strength. 23
