After all, until yesterday afternoon, Fou had looked like he disliked Xiu Er. Who would have thought that after just one night, the relationship between the "person" and beast would improve so quickly?

And now Fou was even lying on her head, asleep.

The conversation between the three of them did not disturb Fou. From the look of it, he seemed to be sleeping soundly. Curled up like that, he made it seem as though Xiu Er were wearing a fluffy white hat atop her head.

Was Xiu Er's hair really that nice to the touch?

The boy suddenly struck a thoughtful pose.

His gaze furtively drifted toward that blue-violet "waterfall." Under the ceiling lights, those already vibrant strands looked even more dazzling.

Xiu Er keenly caught his gaze, though she did not understand why he was staring at her hair.

But that was not important. Xiu Er's thoughts were still on their previous topic.

"Negative. Fou and I never had any conflict to begin with. How could there be any talk of 'making up'?"

After all, no matter what, Xiu Er was someone who dealt with matters objectively. She judged things according to her own standards.

At the very least, in her view, there had never been any "conflict" between her and Fou. As for Fou avoiding her, Xiu Er had never cared about that in the first place.
