"Eh?!"
Mashu, who was well-versed in history, let out a loud cry.
"Are you talking about that Queen of Magic from history?"
"Definitely."
Xiu Er nodded slightly. After all, when she had saved her, she had used the Codex of the Whispers to check her identity.
"May I ask, Xiu Er, did you do something? Miss Nito shows no signs of waking up at all."
When Xiu Er brought them to meet up with the others, she had immediately explained where these people had come from, including how Nito had been kidnapped from that temple by those kidnappers.
So they all knew that this Queen of Magic had been drugged and taken away.
However, after closely examining her condition, Da Vinci discovered something unusual.
Mashu's voice was loud, yet it did not wake the sleeping queen. She merely furrowed her brows slightly before continuing to sink into her dream.
"Definitely. I sensed that trouble would arise if she woke up too early, so I cast sleep magic on her."
Xiu Er did not particularly like something as intuition, since it left no room for prediction. However, she could not deny that intuition could be quite useful at certain times.
"Can you wake her up now? We still don't know the situation in this world."
Da Vinci was right. Aside from Xiu Er, the only things they had encountered so far were those hostile Magic Beasts.
After all, unlike Xiu Er, who could use the Codex of the Whispers to look up information on almost anything, they could only gather intelligence through the most primitive method—finding people to ask.
"Answer: Yes."
Since it was magic cast by Xiu Er, she could naturally undo it as well.
With that, Xiu Er walked over to Nito and removed the effect placed on her.
