Background / History

The Evil Emperor was the chief of the Evil Eye Clan and the strongest Spirit Beast in the Evil Spirit Forest. Ranked second among the Ten Fierce Beasts, he possessed cultivation close to 800,000 years and strength at the Demigod level. He was considered inferior only to Di Tian among the continent's foremost Spirit Beast powerhouses. 160 170

He initially pursued Bai Wanwan after sensing her pure-blooded Dragon Clan bloodline. He intended to use her as a “gift” for Di Tian while demanding Di Tian's Great Ice Silkworm, but Di Tian intervened and fought him. Gu Yuena ultimately dragged the Evil Emperor into the Star Dou Great Forest through a spatial rift and nearly killed him with a single slap. 160 161 162

Given the choice between death and submission, he chose to live. Knowing Bai Wanwan was the Water Dragon King, he accepted Gu Yuena's order to protect her and took over Xiong Jun's duties as her bodyguard. He subsequently assumed a human form and accompanied Bai Wanwan back to Spirit City. 164 165

Before joining Bai Wanwan, he had been an important partner of the Holy Spirit Cult and retained considerable knowledge of the cult and the Sun Moon Empire. Bai Wanwan used this intelligence to alert Spirit Hall's leadership to threats from the Northern Ice Fields. 171
