Sitting on the speeding train, Noah had finally calmed down.

Looking at the scenery outside the window, Noah pondered his future.

Honestly, he truly had no idea what the future was supposed to look like, because this world felt utterly baffling to him—and at the same time, somewhat dangerous.

But thinking too much was useless. The only thing Noah could feel grateful for was that this world was not the so-called Final Earth, but a world that had, for some unknown reason, broken through countless dimensional walls and converged into one.

As for whether these worlds leaned more toward comics or movies, Noah did not know and could not be bothered to figure it out. After all, the timeline was still very early, and he himself was far too young. He did not think he could stir up anything earth-shaking at the age of ten.

"The known part over in America is the Marvel line, while the line I'm on now as I leave London is Harry Potter. God knows what other messy things have been thrown into this world."

Noah rubbed his nose. After glancing at the little wizards around him, each one brimming with excitement, he simply closed his eyes.

He really did not know what to say to these little kids. If it came to excitement, he was excited too, but this world was so strange that he found it hard to express any excitement at all.

"Forget it. What's the point of thinking so much? I'll take it one step at a time. At least I can become a wizard, can't I?"

Noah rubbed his nose and silently had the system bring up his panel.

To be honest, Noah could not bring himself to like that damned character panel the system had given him at all. It was practically something worse than a browser game!

But there was nothing he could do about it. Although the thing was crude and contained very little, it was at least enough for Noah to use right now. If there were too many messy things, maybe Noah would get annoyed just looking at it himself.

Name: Noah Finneal

Age: Eleven

Mage Level: Level One

Looking at that level one, Noah honestly was not in the best mood. After all the effort he had put in, he was only level one—how could Noah possibly be happy about that?

Through the system, Noah had basically learned how the Mage rating worked within the system. Level one could absolutely be said to be the lowest-end category.

The standard classification for mages was Tier 1 to Tier 10, and each tier was divided into ten levels.

Noah's current stage could be described as the absolute bottom category, a level only possessed by someone who had just come into contact with magic. To put it in easy-to-understand terms, this guy was a magic apprentice!

"In other words, the legendary Tier 0 Level 1. Damn, that's an embarrassment to transmigrators."

Noah silently grumbled inwardly. In his words, a level like this really could not do a damn thing. Even if he held a wand, he would not be able to perform any decent magic, unless perhaps it was some specific little trick.

Noah had not run into any trouble when buying his wand. Of course, he also had not encountered anything like a discount. The process of choosing his wand had been extremely simple, as if he were some random passerby, without anything special about it at all.

Regarding this, Noah could only sigh. Sure enough, if you did not have the fate of a protagonist, you could not get protagonist treatment!

Of course, Noah was only complaining verbally. Honestly, he would rather honestly be a random passerby than get dragged into trouble.

Mm. If he could grow strong and ensure his own safety, he would not mind joining in on certain specific matters either.

Of course, all of that was for later. Right now, Noah could not even be considered a small fry. He could only think of ways and work hard on his own.

He sank into sleep. The train was boring anyway, especially since this retro-style steam train was truly no different from torture for Noah.

Back in the day, this guy had been used to riding high-speed rail. He had no interest in something like this at all, and even felt a little carsick.

And Noah remembered that in the original work, this damned train did not reach Hogwarts until after dark. Converting that, Noah basically concluded that this thing had to run for more than eight hours, which was simply torment for him!

"Rather than suffer like that, I might as well go read properly in the library the system made. As for getting along with my classmates? Forget it. I don't even know which house I'm in. I'll talk about it after the Sorting."

Noah really had not decided which house he wanted to go to. In any case, as far as he was concerned, he did not want to go to Gryffindor.

That group of protagonists stirred up trouble nonstop. They basically would not be in danger, but that did not necessarily mean Noah would be safe.

Noah was not a protagonist, and he felt that the things Harry and the others got involved in were honestly far too childish!

As for Dumbledore? He was quite mysterious and quite crafty. Honestly, getting on good terms with him would definitely be a good thing, but the premise was that you had to gain his approval.

As for Voldemort? Noah had nothing much to say. He felt that this guy was practically a textbook example of a failed villain!

If Dumbledore had not been somewhat old, and if that guy had not been especially good at hiding, dealing with him really would not have been a problem.

Just look at Dumbledore in his middle age. The opponent he faced then had been Grindelwald, who was even more terrifying and even more evil than this guy, and Grindelwald had even held a strong card like Dumbledore's brother. But had Dumbledore not still dealt with him all the same?

"So Voldemort amounts to nothing! If Dumbledore weren't so rule-abiding, and if Voldemort weren't so good at hiding, he probably would have found a way to deal with him long ago, right?"

Noah obediently read in System Space and had no interest at all in paying attention to what was happening outside.

Honestly, the spatial library the system had created was pretty impressive. Noah had actually found all kinds of books inside!

For example, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Laws of Magic Usage, Alchemy Techniques, and so on and so forth. In any case, there were books of every type.

However, Noah also knew that it was not very good for him to come into contact with these things right now. What he read the most were still books about the condensation and use of magic power.

At his current stage, reading too much was useless. He would consider other things after he had some strength.

The journey was very quiet and very stable. Only after Noah was woken by the noise around him did he realize that he had already arrived at the station.

"Sure enough, sleeping really is the best way to pass the time. I wonder if a certain little chubby kid found his runaway toad. Forget it, that has nothing to do with me. Why think so much?"

Noah stretched, then followed the crowd off the train. Looking at Hogwarts School standing silently there, Noah felt somewhat excited inside. That would be the place where he would spend many years to come, and it would also be a safeguard for whether he could live steadily in the future.

"I just don't know where I'll be sorted. Forget it. It's the same anywhere. There's no real difference."
