The Soul Beasts and Spirit Masters each stepped out from their respective camps and came to the front of their formations.

Huo Yuhao walked to the space between both sides and said, "Please send forward your first representatives."

From the Soul Beast side, a Soul Beast with a weak aura was brought before Huo Yuhao.

It was a tiger-type Soul Beast. Judging by its size, it was at least ten thousand years old. Yet half its body was already gone. If not for the Jade Swan continuously using healing Spirit Skills to sustain its life, it would have died long ago.

On the human side, the hundred volunteers looked at one another. Compared to the Soul Beasts, they were extremely uneasy, and none of them particularly wanted to be the first to try.

After all, no one knew whether forming a Soul Spirit was dangerous. Moreover, once they stepped forward, they would be extremely close to a Soul Beast. If the Soul Beast attacked, they would inevitably bear the brunt of it.

A man strode out from the crowd. With a flash of his figure, he reached Huo Yuhao after several leaps.

When Huo Yuhao saw him, a complicated look flashed through his eyes. The newcomer was none other than his half-brother and the enemy responsible for his mother's death—Dai Huabin.

Huo Yuhao took a deep breath and said, "Relax at the same time. Do not resist in any way. I will guide you through the fusion ritual."

Though Huo Yuhao's heart was filled with hatred for Dai Huabin, he suppressed those dark thoughts. This experiment was of utmost importance. It concerned not only his own future fate, but also the future direction of humanity and the Soul Beast Clan.
