History

The group’s name originated after videos of eight people involved in the aftermath of a beast tide spread widely online. Netizens dubbed them the “Eight Soul Suppressors,” and the label remained prominent long after the incident stopped trending. 219

Within two years, the title had developed into a nationally recognized organization. Its leaders undertook Soul Beast missions for research institutions, assisted ordinary civilians with Soul Ring acquisition free of charge, and based research-related fees on the age of the requested Soul Beast. Ye Corporation’s support later explained how the organization could sustain this policy. 220
