"What? Someone saw Takeda Shinichi?" Yamane was immediately surprised when Shiraishi mentioned it.

Ryuji's behavior had indeed been suspicious.

Robert repeated what he had said before to Yamane.

Yamane immediately asked, "Was anyone else with him at the time?"

"Anyone else? No." Robert shook his head, then added, "There was a car parked by the roadside, though. I don't know whether anyone was inside."

Yamane felt helpless upon hearing that, but he confirmed the model of the car with Robert before sending his subordinates to search the area.

"Are you sure that was Takeda Shinichi?" Yamane still wasn't at ease. After all, Robert hadn't been to the Eastern Island Nation in three years.

Robert naturally assured him again and again, but Yamane still seemed troubled. Fortunately, the old patrol officer nearby appeared to have heard them and came over on his own. "Inspector Yamane, I heard you talking about the Takeda family's eldest son?"
