An ancient-looking stone chamber, its floor covered in modern metal cables, each one made with an extremely complex process.

One end of these metal cables connected to the chamber walls, seemingly capable of "connecting" with the ancient history buried deep within them.

The other ends converged deeper inside, gathering at the back of a boy who looked no older than twelve.

Rather than a human, he looked more like a bionic entity.

Numerous ports covered his back for receiving the cables, and symmetrical structural lines ran across his face.

The boy was in a Zero-gravity Floating State, his eyes tightly shut as though he were communicating with—or deciphering—these ancient rocks.

At that moment,

The stone door outside opened, and a woman wearing thick glasses walked in, a Golden Sleeve Band around her arm.

"Special field agent Luo Di has arrived. The pituitary gland he brought is highly unusual. I thought you would be interested."

The boy did not respond. The metal cables connected to his back withdrew on their own, and he slowly returned from his weightless state to normal.

He followed the woman to the Detection Room.

The researchers here were all scratching their heads, as though they had encountered a difficult problem.

The devices before them, used to identify Monster Pituitary Glands, had malfunctioned.

Not only were they unable to detect the relevant parameters, but Bizarre Mist had seeped into the instruments. They had tried countless methods, yet none could repair them.

The boy understood the problem with just one glance.

He merely stood before the console, and the faulty machinery resumed operation. All the mist flowing inside was suppressed back into the pituitary gland.
