But after charging beyond the cannonball bombardment zone, they discovered in despair that rows upon rows of musketeers were waiting for them.

After a single volley, the demi-humans fell in swathes like wheat beneath a scythe.
Even those stronger individuals who did not die were inevitably wounded to some extent.
Next, the musketeers used their Class Skills, such as Concussive Shot, Arcane Shot, and Serpent Sting, to kill every last straggler on the path of their charge.
