Aelionteu, the Sky City left behind by the Eight Greed Kings.
Despite enduring hundreds of years of scorching sunlight, wind, and rain, it still showed not the slightest sign of weathering or decay.
Quite the opposite!
It was the only place in this vast desert that could provide water to passing merchants and travelers.
Clear water cascaded down from the sky like a waterfall, pounding the ground day and night until it formed a sapphire-like lake oasis.
Looking down from above, one could even vaguely make out several Hordes settled near the oasis.
Every so often, figures resembling priests would lead Horde members to kneel and worship the sky. From afar, the sight was quite spectacular.
But they would never know that the guardians of Aelionteu, whom they revered as gods, were currently kneeling humbly on the ground like servants, awaiting one person's arrival.
Because this person would decide whether they lived or died!
Whether this Sky City could continue to exist!
"What a beautiful place. No wonder so many people regard it as an unparalleled wonder of the world." Allen sighed softly as he stepped across the white marble paving.
Although he had seen plenty of magnificent scenery, buildings, and cities, none had ever compared to Aelionteu.
Especially the enormous tower standing at the center. Under the sunlight, it reflected a golden radiance, while clear streams of water flowed slowly from its summit along predetermined paths, irrigating the flowers, grass, and trees surrounding the city.

This was a true city capable of housing tens or even hundreds of thousands of residents. Its area was far more astonishing than Old Bones' Great Tomb of Nazarick.
And from the wide variety of architectural styles, decorations, flora, and fauna around them, it was not difficult to see that this
