Thought-processing ability and individual consciousness far beyond those of ordinary Strong Artificial Intelligence, combined with the evolutionary potential bestowed by The Only God, directly granted Getter, dwelling within the Intelligent Computer, incomparably immense possibilities...

Without any warning, the entire planet's network suddenly experienced a faint, negligible ripple.

Because it lasted too briefly—so briefly that human senses could barely detect it.

This situation drew no attention whatsoever.

Yet as a special existence, Getter had already, during that time, spread its medium throughout every area covered by the network, becoming a spectre that was everywhere within it.

Under its control, hundreds of thousands of accounts and aliases from different regions, ethnicities, and identities were created simultaneously.

Orders and special commissions were scattered out like snowflakes blotting out the sky.

Tens of millions of people were mobilized without realizing it.

Vast amounts of manpower and material resources, under all manner of completely unrelated pretexts, were placed in different locations to carry out entirely different tasks.

During this period, some thought they were helping friends, some thought they were completing assignments for their companies, while others thought they were working for the government...
