Formless black mist swirled freely around their bodies, like layers of opaque gauze.
Merely looking at them filled one with a sense of foreboding.
Their long, many-jointed legs were covered in constantly writhing, sharp spines and distorted eyes.
From time to time, those eyes flashed with sinister light that inspired profound terror.
That power could tear apart the bodies and souls of those caught in their gaze, and could even distort spacetime!
It was no exaggeration to say that every part of their bodies existed for slaughter and combat.
