The refined scholar Chen Clan was renowned for having assembled the finest collection of memorial archways in the world. Shaoguang Academy and Fanlu Academy were both among the Seventy-two Confucian Academies, and they were also the two academies closest to each other in the Vast Heaven and Earth. Fanlu Academy could almost be called the Chen Clan's family school; most of its masters bore the surname Chen.

A small wine flask hung at the woman in red's waist, and Xiadao Xiangfu hung at her side. She did not quite inspire dislike, but she certainly tried people's patience. Thus, both Shaoguang and Fanlu had come to know this young woman from Cliff Academy. Though the Great Sui Gao Clan's Cliff Academy on Treasure Bottle Continent was now well known, that owed more to its new Headmaster, Cui Chan, who had betrayed his Literary Vein and turned against his teacher and forebears. It was not because Cliff Academy had produced so many Reading Seeds, or because its younger Gentlemen and Virtuous People had put forward some fine teaching that stirred the Central Divine Continent. So there was no shortage of objections within Confucian circles to Cliff Academy's return to the ranks of the Seventy-two.

As Great Li National Teacher, Cui Chan the Embroidered Tiger had united the strength of an entire continent against the Demon Race Army. No one could fault him for that. His appointment as Academy Headmaster, however, still drew considerable criticism.

Li Baoping had previously traveled alone through the Central Divine Continent, visiting great dynasties
