Only one day (in human time) had passed since personnel aboard the Space Station witnessed the alien spacecraft, yet representatives from the planet's three most powerful nations had already gathered around a negotiating table in an ornate building. From the looks of it, they had been talking for quite some time.
"The news on the internet has all been blocked. So far, no trace of any other alien spacecraft has been found."
"Blocking it was foolish. With a little guidance, everyone would have believed it was video special effects."
"Enough, calm down. Both of you know that isn't the point. The point is how we should deal with the aliens."
Around a conference table much larger than an ordinary human desk sat three groups of sentient beings from Deep Blue Star. They were enormous, standing roughly three meters tall, with an average height even greater than that of the Dog-Headed People.
Like most large animals on this planet, the Deep Blue Star People were bilaterally symmetrical Carbon-based lifeforms. They possessed fleshy outer skin, blue all over and resembling cowhide. Their mouths opened and closed vertically, while their flat pupils, similar to horses' eyes, sat on either side of their heads. They were a strictly herbivorous species, with one immense, sharp horn growing from their heads, making them resemble one-horned rhinoceroses.
The Deep Blue Star People had two hands and two feet much like humans, except each hand and foot had only three digits. The three fingers on their hands formed an opposable structure, giving them an excellent grip.
Though they had only three fingers, they possessed an extra tail, extremely flexible and the key to maintaining balance while walking on two legs. Their tails were exceptionally long and agile, so whenever they stopped moving, their flexible tails acted as a
