Negative Matter and Negative Energy clearly lay beyond humanity's existing physical framework. Before these two things were confirmed to exist and studied, human physics had operated within the framework of the Standard Particle Model, but Negative Matter and Negative Energy clearly did not belong within it.

The Standard Particle Model contained a total of sixty-one Elementary Particles, including Fermions and Bosons. Fermions were particles with half-integer spin that obeyed the Pauli Exclusion Principle, which stated that no identical Fermions could occupy the same quantum state. Bosons, meanwhile, did not obey the Pauli Exclusion Principle.

Thus, Fermions were the particles that made up matter, while Bosons were responsible for transmitting the various interaction forces.

Energy, so to speak, was also included within the Standard Particle Model.

But the substance scientists had now discovered, which might be Negative Matter, seemed impossible to explain through the Standard Particle Model. It seemed not to belong to that system at all, appearing utterly out of place.

Upon reaching this conclusion, the scientists could not help but think of graviton theory. According to the logic of the Standard Model, if Gravitons could be incorporated into it, they would be Bosons with a spin of 2, the carriers of Gravity.

Yet humanity had never made a breakthrough in Gravitons for a long time. There had been some ambiguous discoveries, but none of them had been Gravitons.

Thus, humanity had long come to see Gravity as something especially unique. It stood apart, as though it refused to associate with the other three forces, incomparably aloof.

Over the long years of the past, humanity had tried to study it from different angles. For instance, in quantum theory, the quantum of Gravity was called a Graviton, formed by decomposing the Riemannian Metric. In this theory, matter interacted by exchanging these
