Although humanity had not yet gained the ability to discern the essence of life and consciousness, it could still imitate what it saw. The technology involved in this concept was essentially imitation: using advanced technological means to project all of the human brain's thoughts and conscious activity onto a Quantum Field based on a certain Quantum Carrier, as though making an all-encompassing projection, allowing that Quantum Carrier to possess all the intelligence of a human individual.
However, before that could be done, they first had to find a Quantum Carrier capable of carrying thought.
Scientists in the field of Mental Consciousness had two views on how to find such a Quantum Carrier. One believed it should be sought out like an unknown particle. The other believed that a Quantum Carrier in that state already existed; it was one of the fundamental conditions that allowed life to burst forth with the Light of Wisdom, and an important component of consciousness itself.
All humanity needed to do was find it.
Human scientists who supported this view also proposed a hypothesis. They believed that the Consciousness Linking Device given to humanity by the Awakeners was one such application, and that it was the fundamental reason humans could enter the Third-Person Dream Realm perspective.
They believed that when humans entered Third-Person Piloting Mode through the Consciousness Linking Device, it was actually a manifestation of consciousness separating from the flesh. Yet it was only separated from the flesh, not from matter, because conscious activity in that state was still founded on matter. The matter had merely taken the form of a Quantum Field.
